"Music Bank" in Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires in 2012

KBS's "Music Bank" have just confirmed they will bringing the show to four overseas cities next year: Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires. 

Other cities are still being negotiated and producers are working hard to confirm the artists.

ZE:A’s Dongjun & Kevin to go on a date with Brazilian fans for ‘Star Date’

On December 26th, ZE:A's Dongjun and Kevin attented a conference for TV‘s ‘Star Date with ZE:A in Brazil‘, where they announced that they’ll be going on a date with two Brazilian K-Pop fans.


Dongjun said, “I’m excited to go to Brazil and meet our fans there. Personally, I’m a huge soccer fan so I’d love to play soccer with them while spreading Korean culture.”


Kevin expressed, “I’m excited to go to Brazil and meet our fans there. Personally, I’m a huge soccer fan so I’d love to play soccer with them while spreading Korean culture.”


"Star Date with ZE:A in Brazil" will consist of three episodes and will be on air in March.

B2ST announces 21-city world tour & Cube to debut new boy group

On December 26th, Cube Entertainment held a press conference and unveiled their plans for 2012.


B2ST will embark on a 21-city tour starting on February 4th in Seoul and then in Germany (Berlin), England (London), Spain, America (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco), Canada (Vancouver, Toronto), Singapore, Japan (five cities), Thailand (Bangkok), China (Shanghai), Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Brazil and Argentina are still in discussion. 


Over $200 million USD are being invested in the tour and at least 200,000 fans are expected to be attending. An official expressed, 2012 will be the year that B2ST expands out of Asia and into the rest of the world. They’ll receive a lot of love right alongside the K-Pop boom.”


The CEO added that B2ST will be releasing three singles: Ballad in January, Hip Hop in February, and Mediun dance in March. From April to May, they will have a Korean comeback.


Then the CEO revealed that they're preparing to debut a new seven member boy group next year.

U-KISS has released a new single "Lifetime For Kiss Me"

The song is a remake of UN's 2011 track "Lifetime" and the boys gave it a brighter touch by filling it with joy and love to their fans in this holiday season.

Kim Hyun Joong earns four awards at the "Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards"

Kim Hyun Joong has earned four awards at  the "2011 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards" proving that he's one of the leading Hallyu stars of Asia.


Held at the Hong Kong Convention Center on the night of December 20th, Kim Hyun Joong came away with 56 million online votes, earning him the trophies of Asia Top Buzz Solo Artist‘, ‘Korea Top Buzz Solo Artist‘, ‘Hong Kong Top Buzz Solo Artist‘, and ‘Taiwan Top Buzz Solo Artist‘.


Kim Hyun Joong thanked his fans in English,  “I’d like to thank my fans for their endless love and support throughout my promotion. I hope to repay you with a better image next year.”

GavyNJ releases "What Should I Do" MV

On December 20th, Gavy NJ released the OST "What Should I Do"  for the drama "Color of Woman".

The track has a 14-orchestra and an upbeat tempo. The song pertains to the drama where love happens despite busy work lives. The MV includes scenes of the drama itself.

Alexander's showcase tour in Japan and Malaysia

On December 9th, U-KISS's former member Alexander, kicked off his showcase tour in Japan. A total of 700 fans and 100 industry officials attended. A director of his Japanese concerts said, “Alexander showed dancing and singing skills that exceeded the expectations of officials from music labels, so they took a lot of interest in him. He’s also someone that the Japanese people take very well to character-wise, so we’re looking forward to seeing what he can show on dramas or variety shows.”


On the 18th, he held his second showcase in Malaysia. A total of 1,500 fans watched him performed his title track "I Just" and other songs. His representatives in Malaysia commented, "His numerous charms makes him stand out as a singer. He’s also capable of several languages, so we’re absolutely sure that he’ll be well-loved by not only Malaysia, but all of Asia.”

Kim Hyun Joong releases thank you single "Marry Me"

Kim Hyun Joong has decided to release a single to thank his fans for the success of his "Break Down" and "Lucky" albums.


He personally participated in the production, "Marry Me" carries an acoustic melody with lyrics promising eternal love for his fans.


The music video contains sand animation as well as fan-submitted photos.

Jang Geun Suk has opened his own Youtube channel to share his daily life with his fans.


He said, “I created a YouTube account because I wanted to converse with more of my fans. Because I’m actively promoting at the moment, I think I’ll be able to share more fun moments with them. YouTube is also a platform with netizens from all over the world, so I hope that it allows me to reach more of my fans. Thank you for your interest.”

U-KISS "Tick Tack" on Made in BS Japan

On December 14th, U-KISS has released their Japanese debut album "Tick Tack".


To promote their title track "Tick Tack", they performed live on Made in BS Japan.

SS501 Park Jung Min collaborates with Taiwanese artists

Park Jung Min has been busy on his abroad activities. He was recently invited to an international live event in Guanngzhou, China.


The event concept was "The Global Art of Mixing". Park Jung Min collaborated in two performances with Taiwan's Yoga Lin and A-Lin.


Representatives of his agency stated, “Park Jung Min made sure to make eye contact with the 4,000 fans that came from all over Asia like Taiwan, Singapore, and the Philippines. His stage was one full of fan service, as he gave out as many high fives as he could.”


Park Jung Min is preparing for his Taiwanese CTS drama.


It seems that SS501 members are really busy. Let's wish them the best.

SM Town releases "The Warmest Gift" album

On December 13th, SM Town artists revealed their first winter album.


"The Warmest Gift" has 11 tracks all sung in English. BoA, SNSD, Super Junior, f(x), TVXQ, TRAX, Kangta, CSJH Dana & Sunday, J-Min, and Zhang Li Yin delivered a light mix of original and classic Christmas songs.

CUBE Entertainment in Brazil

On December 11th, CUBE Entertainment arrived to Brazil to hold the first Korean concert in that country.


They were received by over 3,000 fans. The concert will be held on December 13th, and it is expected to be as great as the one they held in London a couple of days ago.
