Isak to star in the musical, ‘Spring Awakening’

Kim Isak (25), former member of SM Entertainment group Isak N Jiyeon and VJ on Arirang TV, is starring in a musical.

Isak has been cast for the role of Ilse in the musical ‘Spring Awakening.’ I

Isak make her theatrical debut as an actress in the musical  ‘The Life’ back in 2008 and for the musical she stated, “I feel pressured about the piece but I’m practicing hard to become a successful musical star.”

Spring Awakening is a rock musical adaptation of the controversial 1891 German play of the same title by Frank Wedekind. Set in late-19th century Germany, it concerns teenagers who are discovering the inner and outer tumult of sexuality.

‘Spring Awakening’ will be on stage from June 3rd until September 4th at the Doo San Art Center inSeoul.

Park Jung Min will release a new song for his birthday. The song is callled "Like Tears are Falling", and it will be released on April 1st through a musical digital channel.


This song is a prelude of his new mini-album "The, Park Jung Min" which will be released on April 7th.

Park Jung Min to return next month with "Sweet Chic"

Park Jung Min will be back next month with a new album "Sweet Chic".

Park Jung Min took a time during his Asia promotions to record an album in gratitude to the support of his fans.

A representative of his agency commented, “Fans will definitely be captivated with Park Jung Min’s charms once more through his next album, ‘Sweet Chic.’”

The album is scheduled for release in the beginning of April.

U-KISS "Bran New KISS" Teaser

Kim Hyun Joong is busily recording for his solo album

Kim Hyun Joong is completely focused on the preparation of his first solo album. 


On March 24th a representative of KeyEast Entertainment revealed: "Kim Hyun Joong has been living in the recording room and is busily recording his newest tracks. Since it is his first solo album apart from his group, he’s filled with both determination and effort.”


Kim Hyun Joong has only be attending to some photoshoots, the rest of the time is at the recording room working on every detail of his album.


The representative continued, “He’s been expressing his ideas and opinions on his album’s concept and the tracks to be included.  He’s working very hard to exude a different charm as a soloist, which will distinguish him from his usual image as a SS501 member. “

His solo album will be released by May at the earliest, or by June at the latest.

U-KISS: member changes, new leader, and goals for “0330″

At the beginning the original members were upset with the departure of Kibum and Alexander. But  now that they've been recording with the new members, they have been making an effort to get to know them. 


"We didn’t know what to do at first, and all of us were so confused and lost because we had to separate from the two friends we were with all along.  But now that we’ve been rehearsing with the new members and spending more time together, we’ve been making an effort to try and get to know each other better. We’re definitely learning faster than in the past, so we do have strong hopes of showing a lot more than we previously could.”


Because of the recently changes, U-KISS decided to name Soo Hyun as their leader. "After experiencing something as big as a member change, all of the members have become so much more serious and mature.  Now, no matter what we do, we have better focus and are able to advance at a faster pace than before.”


The members have decided to participate in the album's writing, rap-making, and production. Dongho and AJ participated in writing the songs. 


This time U-KISS is shooting to be #1 with their title track "0330".


Let's look forward to their 5th album which will show us a "Bran New U-KISS".

U-KISS announces official comeback

On March 22nd U-KISS announced their official comeback with their fifth mini-album "Bran New Kiss".


This album marks a new start for U-KISS with their two new members. The album has six tracks:

1. It's Time (Intro)
2. 0303 (Title track)
3. Words That Hurt Me
4. Every Day
5. I Don't Understand
6. Miracle

It will be available on-line on March 30th and they will make their official stage comeback on Mnet's "M! Countdown" on March 31st.

U-KISS reveals their new member

NH Media has revealed the new U-KISS's member. 


Hoon was born in 1991 and is currently a theater major at Dong Guk University. According to the agency he has and impressive vocal talent.


Representatives of NH Media said, “The new member to take the place of Kim Kibum and Alexander is Hoon. Throughout the times, there’s been a lot of happiness, but we felt there there was a need for a change in the team. After a long discussion, we came to the decision of switching out the members.”

Hoon is the first of two members who will be joining the group in the upcoming months.

Their comeback album is scheduled to drop mid-March, but until then, fans can anticipate the reveal of the second member, as well as various promotional and UCC teasers.

SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun completes debut album showcase

On March 5th, Kim Hyun Jun held his debut showcase "1st Solo Mini Album Showcase."


Park Jung Min and his brother Kim Ki Bum attended the event to support him.

Through a short press conference with reporters, Kim Hyung Jun revealed his plans for his future activities, as well as the meaning of his album.

He explained that although “My Girl” seemed like a song about love, the album’s overall message was meant to express his desire to become closer with his fans.  Kim Hyung Jun stated, “I know that working solo is hard, but it was thanks to the fans that were always there shouting for me and looking for me that I was able to choose this path, knowing that it will be difficult.”

His mini album will drop on March 8th, which will be followed by a large-scale promotion covering all of Asia.
