G.NA to perform at the “Canada Korea Friendship Festival”

G.NA was born in Edmenton, Canada and raised in Vancouver. For the first time in four years, she'll be making a glorious hometown return.


She's scheduled to perform at the "Canada Korea Friendship Festival."


G.NA commented, “It’s my first time visiting Canada after my debut, so I’m glad that I even get to perform. I actually graduated high school there, and to be able to stand there and sing after realizing my dreams is really touching.”

Park Jung Min visits Kim Hyung Joon on his MV film set

Kim Hyung Joon is preparing for his solo debut this March. To support SS501's maknae, Park Jung Min arrived to the set with snacks to cheer up the environment.


Kim Hyung Joon’s representatives revealed, “Seeing the two of them together was very heartwarming. Park Jung Min was able to give a burst of energy to both Kim Hyung Joon and the staff members, who were all very tired from the late night filming.”

Former U-Kiss member Kim Kibum recently confessed his feelings about leaving the team.

“I didn’t quit, they canceled my contract,” said Kim Kibum in a phone conversation with Newsen on the23rd. Kibum added, “the agency first told us they are going to replace two members. They demanded me to sign an agreement on canceling my contract, so I did.”

Kibum was puzzled about the news that said he had quit the group. “I feel sorry to our fans,” said Kibum.

Kibum posted a long tweet to his fans:
That tweet began with, “안녕하세요 유키스 기범, 아니 정확히는 유키스로 활동했던 김기범입니다/ Hello, I am U-Kiss Kibum, no, I was U-Kiss Kim Kibum.”

Kibum says he didn’t voluntarily quit U-Kiss to focus on his Piro Piro character business but was required to sign the contract cancellation agreement and leave the group. Kibum says his business never distracted him from his U-Kiss activites and prioritized U-Kiss over anything else.

“가족같이 아니 그 이상으로 멤버들을 생각해왔습니다 이렇게 헤어지게 된것이 정말 섭섭한 마음이지만 제가 모자란 부분이 많아 유키스에 교체가 필요할 것이라는 전 소속사의 의견또한 존중하는 바입니다 / I thought of the members like my family…no, more than that. I’m so sad to say good-bye to them like this but I do respect the agency’s decision to replace me with someone better.”

Kibum thanked his fans and promised that he’ll continue to appear on air by himself as both a talent and business man.

This was also the case for member Alexander. “I did leave U-Kiss,” said Alexander on the phone with Newsen. “But it wasn’t because of school like they stated.”

U-Kiss’s agency NH Media said they will “comment soon” about the matter. They plan to replace Kim Kibum and Alexander with new members, strengthen vocals and bring a change to U-Kiss.

Kibum explains his departure from U-KISS

Kibum has explained his decision of leaving U-KISS through a long tweeT:

“Hello this is U-KISS Kibum, or more specifically, an ex-member of U-KISS, Kim Kibum.

After two months of delay, I’ve finally plucked up the courage to write this post.

First off, the agency and I have made an agreement about my exclusive contract on February 2011.

As the agency desired a member replacement, we wrote out a consent document for a contract dissolution, and from that day on, I became a former member of U-KISS.

Contrary to what most of you might be thinking, this is unrelated to my Piro Piro business… nor is it about losing interest in U-KISS.

I always thought importantly of U-KISS more than anyone, and I’m proud to say that not once did my Piro Piro character business impede my schedules with U-KISS..

I always thought of the members as more than family. I’m extremely upset that I have to part with them like this, but it was because of my lacking areas which warranted my former agency to desire a member replacement.

I may be leaving on a one-sided decision, however, I was able to learn a lot and meet many people, as well as the U-KISS members.

My feelings are very mixed up on the thought that the few lines in this message could hurt a lot of people I love.

I will continue my personal activities on broadcast.

Thank you to all the people who supported me wherever I was, and I will meet you once again as an entrepreneur,

Thank you.”

U-KISS’ agency is open to adding new members to the group

U-KISS' agency has revealed that they are looking for adding new members to the now five-member group.


A representative of NH Media said “If there is a good trainee to pick, there are chances that we could add them into the group.”

“However, for their comeback this March, the group will be promoting as five members, as the five have already recorded their album. Their spring comeback will have Soohyun as the lead, alongside members Kevin, Eli, Dongho and Kiseop.”

Alexander & Kim Kibum to leave U-KISS

On February 23rd was revealed that Alexander and Kim Kibum will be leaving U-KISS. Therefore, both won't participate in U-KISS' comeback album.


Alexander is leaving the group due to personal reasons, it seems he wants to pursue his studies.


Kibum will be focusing on his company with his brother Kim Hyung Joon.

It was held at the Shinawaga Prince Hotel and he established his officially Japanese fanclub at the event.He captivated his 3,000 fans at the event.


Him Hyung Joon returned to Korea on the 20th and he is finalizing his preparations for his solo activities.

Park Jung Min performed his last stage perfomance for "Not Alone" on Music Bank.


Park Jung Min will be preparing for his fan meeting tour, a repackaged album, and he will be filming a Taiwanese drama.


On the 12th, he will be departing to Japan to start his schedule activities there. 

U-KISS' Eli & Kevin ideal woman's trait

On February 11th, Eli and Kevin attended the press conference for their "Star Date" special with Arirang TV.


The members were asked to describe their ideal women, Eli said, “I like tall women with nice personalities. It’s inevitable for physical appearance to be included in describing my ideal woman, but first and foremost, I’d like for her to have an outgoing personality.”


Kevin emphasized a bright personality, “I’d like for her to have an outgoing personality, and she’s someone who smiles often. My ideal woman is someone who can understand my feelings and accepts me for who I am.”

Star Date with U-KISS in Hong Kong

Arirang is holding auditions for girls between 17 and 25 years old. The online application will be open until 6 pm on February 22nd. Then Arirang will kick off a second round of auditions on the following day. The final four will be unveiled online.

Kim Hyun Joong schedules solo debut for May

There has been some rumors about Kim Hyun Joong finalizing his solo debut album.


Kim Hyun Joong denied the rumors stating that the project is far from complete. His agency said, “Kim Hyun Joong’s album is scheduled for release this May. It’s a bit too early to say that he’s ready for his comeback, however. We’re still discussing his concept and collecting songs. He also hasn’t recorded any of the songs yet.”


His CEO said that since Kim Hyun Joong wants to put his best effort in his solo album, he won't be acting or participating on other activities. Kim Hyun Joons is really focusing in every detail of his solo album.
